Privacy

Last updated 22 September 2026

This is a plain-language summary of how the site handles your information. A full privacy policy will replace it before launch.

What is public

Your handle, display name, photo, bio and links, and every page you publish with its visibility set to Published. Public pages can be read by anyone, indexed by search engines, and read by AI crawlers.

Dating profiles are visible to people browsing the site but are never offered to search engines. Hidden and draft pages are visible only to you.

What stays private

Your email address and password. Your messages, which only you and the member you are talking to can read. Reports you make.

Dating compatibility questions

If you answer the compatibility questions on a dating profile — including your cultural background and faith — we store them only after you agree to it, and use them to suggest matches. They are private: other members see only a match percentage and what you have in common, never your answers, unless you turn on “Show my answers on my profile”. Deleting your dating profile deletes them.

Photos

Uploaded photos are re-encoded and their embedded metadata — including any location the camera recorded — is removed before they are stored.

Emails we send

Account emails (confirming your address, resetting your password), and an email when a message has been waiting unread for a few minutes. You can switch message emails off in your account settings.

Cookies

A sign-in cookie to keep you signed in, and one that remembers your display settings. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your control

You can edit, hide or delete any page you have published, and change or remove your profile details at any time. To delete your account entirely, contact the site's administrators.
